Tree plantation means planting more and more trees in a planned way. Trees are our best friends. They help us in many ways. They give us food, fruit, shade and shelter. They take away carbon dioxide from the earth and give us our most important element which is oxygen. They are a great source of vitamins and minerals. They also save us from many natural calamities. Without trees, we cannot live on earth. But the people are cutting down trees recklessly thereby endangering their own lives. If this situation goes on, the country will face a great crisis. There will be no trees anymore and the existence of human on earth will be gone permanently. A country needs 25% of forest lands. But our country has only 16%. So, necessary steps should be taken to have more trees. The people who are related to this crime should be taken under the law. Both government and non-government organizations should take proper steps to have more and more trees. The mass media can also take necessary steps to plant trees and make people conscious about planting trees. By raking these steps, we can have a green country and make our future more brighter.
